My journey into the arts began with an unexpected decision:

I left electrical engineering behind to pursue something that truly lit me up — image, humanity, and storytelling. It wasn’t a logical choice in the traditional sense; it was a leap of instinct, emotion, and the encouragement of a friend who changed the way I saw the world.

Since then, I’ve spent over 15 years working in the world of image-making — particularly in portraiture, commercial photography, and personal projects.

My early years in still life and advertising photography gave me a deep understanding of light, structure, and composition — elements that now shape the way I approach portraiture, whether in the studio or on location. You can feel it in the way I build an image: the light, the placement, the energy of connection.

I’m deeply interested in people —

in their stories, faces, differences, and the invisible threads that connect us. My goal is not to simply create beautiful images, but meaningful ones — images that speak, that stay with you, that matter. My recent project External Iran is a reflection of this: an attempt to portray a contemporary, internal view of Iranian identity, away from clichés and stereotypes.

Alongside my artistic practice, I’ve also taught photography for many years. Teaching has never been just about transferring knowledge for me — it’s a dialogue, a source of clarity, and something that genuinely brings me peace.

Currently based in Paris,

I work internationally and welcome collaborations across borders — in portraiture, film, and any creative visual storytelling that resonates.

For me, photography is not about capturing a moment — it’s about building a story.

I strive to create images that are not only well-constructed, but that contain within them a sense of why —

why this scene, this light, this framing, this person?

If you have a project in mind that needs a thoughtful eye, a human perspective, and uncompromising quality,

I’d love to connect and explore the possibilities together.
